Mark Zygadlo: Wasserorgel/ The WaterOrgan

„WaterOrgan is a floating kinetic artwork. A 37 note wind organ responds sonically to a river or waterway by reading its features with an array of underwater sensors and creating a real-time soundscape. The WaterOrgan will leave Kingholm Quay on Friday 16 th Oct. and make its way to the Centre of Dumfries playing the sounds of the River Nith all the way. You can walk along with the WaterOrgan or, at the Whitesands Steps from 3.00pm., you can hear the instrument replay its sonic journey up the river.“
